By train:

Some of Italy's high speed trains pass through Turin. Among international connections the following are worth mentioning:

  •          Frankfurt - Milan Centrale: this one is very picturesque as it crosses Alps, but in Milan you have to change to another speed train to Turin (+50 min).
  •          Paris - Milan Centrale: crosses Westen Alps and passes though Turin.

The venue (Circolo dei lettori) is close to the Torino Porta Nuova train station, and can be reached by those arriving to Torino Porta Susa by metro as well. Hotels near the venue are:

  • NH collection piazza Carlina (****).
  • Hotel Victoria (****).
  • Opera 35 hotel (****).
  • Hotel Amadeus (***).
  • Le petit hotel (***) and
  • Hotel Roma e Rocca Cavour (***).

Of course, there are numerous B&Bs as well which you can find at Booking.com, Airbnb.com etc.
