The gathering aims to bring together various stakeholders, including members of the Diamond Open Access (OA) community, institutional publishing service and technology providers, journal editor and technical professionals working with publishing systems like OJS, Lodel and Janeway.
The event will feature presentations, workshops and hands-on sessions on topics such as:
- The Diamond Discovery Hub – the registry of Diamond OA journals
- OJS core and plug-in developments
- Indexes and Aggregators Knowledge Base
- Journals Visibility Pathfinder for indexing and harvesting services
- Training materials and curriculum for technical standards
- The Living Handbook for Diamond OA publishing
- AAI – single sign-on service for the community
This unique opportunity will enable us to share knowledge and collaborate on enhancing the technological advancements within the field, for example pool ideas and best practices with presentations and hands-on sessions on several topics like the Diamond Discovery Hub, OJS core and plug-ins development and a training curriculum for technical standards.
