Base4NFDI invites you to the 2nd Base4NFDI User Conference (UC4B2025)!
Base4NFDI is an initiative that will develop and offer a set of common shared RDM enabling services to the NFDI community. Base4NFDI supports this via an iterative three-step process, allowing a participatory path to roll-out and, importantly, gaining consensus from the NFDI community along the way. Base4NFDI will have a number of basic services at different stages of technical fruition by August 2025.
This year again, we from Base4NFDI and the funded basic services want to get into discussion with you, our users.
This year's event is divided into three parts (see timetable):
- a dedicated Base4NFDI slot at the CoRDI conference
- a panel discussion directly following the CoRDI with a subsequent evening reception
- a focus day for the basic services, where they can come into contact with their users and those responsible for their implementation in an individual way.
The aim of the event is:
To present the basic services and the progress of their work, to shed light on the development and sustainable operation of research infrastructures in general and also from an international perspective and, above all, to examine hands-on in cooperation with the basic service teams how the roll-out of basic services in the consortia can function technically and organizationally.
The interactive program will allow the basic service teams to show themselves, promote exchange with international experts and also report on the status of the Base4NFDI project. However, the central aim of the event is to benefit cooperation between basic service teams and consortia.
CoRDI
UC4B2025 takes place directly after the Conference on Research Data Infrastructure (CoRDI) and is thematically related to it. Further information on CoRDI and registration can be found at https://www.nfdi.de/cordi-2025/
