Join us at the 3rd Base4NFDI User Conference (UC4B2026)!
UC4B2026 brings together Base4NFDI, its funded basic services and the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) community for two days of exchange, collaboration and hands-on discussions on shared research data management (RDM) services.
This year's event focuses on:
- Hands-on sessions with incubator presentations and opportunities to showcase service integration within your community
- Strategic discussions on topics such as operating models for basic services
The interactive programme offers participants the opportunity to increase the visibility of their work, exchange ideas with stakeholders from across the NFDI and identify opportunities for broader adoption and integration of services.
Above all, UC4B2026 aims to strengthen collaboration between the basic service teams and the NFDI consortia.
The conference showcases the progress of the Base4NFDI basic services while exploring the development and sustainable operation of research infrastructures from both national and international perspectives. A particular focus is on working directly with the basic service teams to discuss how the technical and organisational roll-out of basic services can be successfully implemented across the NFDI consortia.
About Base4NFDI
Base4NFDI is an initiative of all 26 consortia within the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI). It develops, integrates and operates shared basic services for research data management across the NFDI community. Existing services are adapted or extended to support researchers from different disciplines. By November 2026, the Base4NFDI basic services will be available at different stages of maturity.
