Statement on Gender Balance at Diffraction Methods in Structural Biology 2024
The Diffraction Methods 2024 Organizing Committee fully supports and promotes gender equality in accordance with the IUCr policy https://www.iucr.org/iucr/principles-and-policies/gender-balance.
We will strive for gender equality among our lecturers and participants. The Scientific Programme Chairs were elected by the entire conference at the 2022 Diffraction Methods in Structural Biology meeting.
In accordance with IUCr policy, our gender statistics will be published on the meeting website when the programme is finalized.
Scientific Freedom Policy Statement
The Organizing Committee will observe the basic policy of non-discrimination and affirms the right and freedom of scientists to associate in international scientific activity without regard to such factors as ethnic origin, religion, citizenship, language, political stance, gender, sex or age, in accordance with the Statutes of the International Council for Science. At Diffraction Methods in Structural Biology no barriers will exist which would prevent the participation of bona fide scientists.
