We love critical thinking...Can we teach and assess it?
In this working group, we will address the place of critical thinking in our upper-level language classes – what it means, why we should care about it, and the challenges we face when it comes to both developing and assessing this very special set of academic skills. We’ll share some best practice examples and work together to generate some new strategies for incorporating critical thinking skills into our lessons and our assessments. We look forward to a lively exchange of ideas.
