Conference dinner

The conference dinner will take place at Castle Plesse (Burg Plesse) on Sept. 25 at 7 pm.

In the afternoon of Sept. 25, we are offering two social activities (participation at your own risk):

1) Visit Forum Wissen: a museum on scientific artifacts collected throughout the history of Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. The tour will be self-guided, but we will go as a group.
We meet at 2 pm in front of the registration desk on the ground floor and take the public bus together to Forum Wissen. 
We have arranged a bus transfer for those attending the conference dinner. We will meet at 4:40 pm in front of Forum Wissen.

2) Hike from Friedrich-Hund Platz to Castle Plesse. We will meet in front of the Physics building and depart at 3:30 pm. Please bring good footwear, rain protection, water and snacks.

For those who won't join us for the hike, we arranged for a bus transfer to Castle Plesse

from Friedrich-Hund Platz. We will meet at 5:15 pm.

 

For the return trip from the Dinner, there will be another bus transfer, departing from Castle Plesse

at 10 pm, with stops at Friedrich-Hund Platz, Hotel Best Western, and Downtown (railway station).

 

We will ask you during registration if and which activities you will join.
