Description
PID4NFDI is the basic service for persistent identifiers (PIDs) within Base4NFDI. The goal of PID4NFDI is to standardize PID usage across the NFDI consortia, strengthen PID governance, and promote interoperability between PID systems and metadata schemas so that identifiers for data, instruments, and other research resources function reliably and consistently throughout NFDI, rather than just within individual consortia.
