Description
This talk introduces the work of Work Package 3 of the DFG project FDLink, which aims to network research data management (RDM) services from various universities and supraregional infrastructures. The focus is on the development of use cases for cross-institutional RDM services, which are based on benchmarking, expert interviews, and practical examples and are used to further develop the UpdateFDM maturity model. The use cases highlight the organizational, communicative, and strategic prerequisites for a coordinated service ecosystem and serve as a foundation for better coordinating RDM offerings and facilitating researchers’ access to appropriate services.
