Description
Text+ provides a domain-specific infrastructure for language- and text-based research data within the NFDI, making heterogeneous resources such as collections, lexical resources, and editions discoverable through the Text+ Data Space. The integration of Base4NFDI basic services is understood not as a technical add-on, but as a way to strengthen this data space, improve usability, and support sustainable research workflows. Central to this process are incubators, which allow generic services to be tested, adapted, and aligned with community-specific requirements. Examples include IAM4NFDI for object-level authorization in repository contexts, DMP4NFDI for community-specific data management planning in RDMO, and Jupyter4NFDI for reproducible and interactive computational workflows. Through workshops, prototypes, surveys, and outreach formats, Text+ creates feedback loops between researchers, infrastructure providers, and NFDI-wide service development. Overall, Text+ demonstrates how basic services become effective when embedded in domain expertise and real research needs.
