Annual Meeting of the German Astronomical Society 2026
Monday, September 7, 2026 - Friday, September 11, 2026, Garching near Munich, Germany
The International Annual Meeting of the German Astronomical Society will be hosted by the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics, in Garching during the week September 7-11, 2026.
The meeting will include invited plenary talks, splinter sessions, poster presentations, and working group meetings of the Astronomical Society. We encourage all participants to join the meeting in person. Online attendance will be possible for the plenary sessions only but not for the splinter meetings.
The conference will be held on the Research Campus Garching in the TUM Mechanical Engineering Building, Boltzmannstr. 15, 85748 Garching, Munich. The Opening Reception will take place at the ESO Supernova.

Cancellation Policy
Please note that 50 % of the conference fee and the full conference dinner will be refunded if you cancel your registration until August 31, 2026. No refund will be possible for cancellations made after this date.
