Description

As part of our aim to raise awareness of how best to deal with discrimination, bullying, or other unacceptable behaviour, we offer the interactive 

Active Bystander Training"

on December 16, 2024, 11:00-12:15, in English.
zoom link to be provided to all registered participants

Target group: The training is offered to all employees and leaders.

Aim:
To equip attendees with skills to respond to inappropriate behaviours,
including those which may have been normalised over time. This  programme is designed to empower staff to challenge poor behaviours and help bring about cultural change.

Attendees will:

  • Gain an understanding of what bystander apathy is and the importance of being an Active Bystander
  • Learn skills and techniques to challenge bullying, harassment, microaggressions and other inappropriate behaviours
  • Learn decision-making techniques to help overcome fear and self-doubt when faced with a challenging situation
  • Gain language skills to be able to speak out confidently and assertively – whether dealing with the challenge directly or calling for help from others.
