DMP4NFDI is one of the Basic Services supported by the German National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI). DMP4NFDI aims at making it easier for researchers to work with data management plans (DMPs) and software management plans (SMPs). To do so, it provides a framework together with usage guidelines as well as the management tool Research Data Management Organiser (RDMO), with all resources open to the broad public. Particularly for NFDI consortia, it also provides incubator projects to help them extend the framework to their own needs. Currently, DMP4NFDI is integrating SMPs so research software created as part of a research project is also covered. In this poster, we will present our advances towards an NFDI SMP, in particular a draft SMP and its integration into DMPs. We will provide ways for people visiting our poster to give us feedback so our SMP is also useful for the broad public.
