We are happy to invite you to the 4th Career Perspectives’ Panel Discussion, taking place at the auditorium of the Max Planck Institute for Biology of Ageing on Friday September 16th , 2022 from 1:00 - 4:30 pm.

The Career Perspectives’ Panel Discussion will consist of a brief introduction (2 minutes) of each invited panel member. This is followed by a discussion of the different career paths of the panel members with the audience (doctoral and postdoctoral researchers of the MPI and neighboring institutes). In order to present a broad variety of possible career trajectories, we have invited a Principal Investigator, Science Journalist, Scientific Coordinator, Permanent Postdoc, Clinical Research Associate, Global Product Manager and Lab Manager.

After the panel discussion, there will be the opportunity for informal meetings with the speakers, taking place from 2:45- 4:15 pm. We are planning to discuss a broad range of topics, including daily activities, required skills, work -life balance and recruitment procedures. If you have a specific topic that you would like to be discussed, please let us know.
