Science Tour on Wednesday
On Wednesday, November 17, we are offering three optional social activities.
Participants may choose one of the following:
1) Science sightseeing in Göttingen
Join a group departing at 9:00 am or 10:00 am in front of the Paulinerkirche for a guided tour through Göttingen and its scientific history.
Group size is limited to 15 participants. Registration for this activity is available during check-in.
2) Historic Collection - Physikalisches Cabinet
Gain insight into the history of physics at the Georg-August University.
At 10:00 am, you can join a guided tour through the exhibit.
The group meets in front of the exhibition in the Lobby of the Faculty of Physics (Friedrich-Hund-Platz 1, 37077 Göttingen).
Group size is limited to 15 participants. Registration for this activity is available during check-in.
3) Visit to Forum Wissen
Forum Wissen is a museum showcasing scientific artifacts from the history of Georg-August-Universität Göttingen.
This is a self-guided tour; no registration required. Participants may join the group departing from the Paulinerkirche at 10:00 am or visit independently at their own convenience.
