A group leader will initiate the first meeting, that you the "onboarding assistant / Buddy / Pate" participate in the last 5 min of the meeting, then the organizational meeting starts.

The group leader must set up the first meeting to welcome the new colleague.

In this meeting the basics of the group organization should be explained: How do we communicate with each other and where to find information that are important in the first days. Do not try to cover everything. It's too much!
