Jean-Louis Halpérin is Law professor at the École Normale Supérieure -PSL (Paris) and chairman of the “Unité mixte de recherche 7074 – Centre for Legal Theory and Analysis” (CNRS-University Paris Nanterre-ENS). He has published 16 books and edited 16 collective works about legal history.
