RTG 2491 Autumn School on C*-Algebras
Structure, Dynamics, and Applications
An autumn school geared towards PhD students, postdocs and master students which aims to familiarise the participants with advanced topics in $C^*$-algebras. In particular, the school will delve into topics where the theory of $C^*$-algebras are applied – like dynamics and quantum systems. It is organized as an activity of the Research Training Group Fourier Analysis and Spectral Theory (RTG 2491).

Plan of the school
The school will consist of four mini-courses, each consisting of four lectures, where participants will get to learn various topics related to the theory of $C^*$-algebras such as structure and rigidity properties, dynamical systems and crossed products, group $C^*$-algebras and applications to quantum spin systems.
Additionally, there will be a poster session to give young researchers an opportunity to publicize their research – we strongly encourage participants to present a poster. The school will also have an open ended Q&A session where participants can suggest topics they would like to hear about and experts (either participants or the speakers) can volunteer to explain the topics.
