“Theoreticians or Observers Alike: Get Ready to submit a successful PLATO Open Time Proposal”

20 – 21 Oct 2025, MPA

 

We are pleased to invite you to the workshop “How to Become a PLATO Guest Observer? Get Ready!”.

This event will be conducted in a hybrid format, allowing for both in-person and virtual participation. The in-person sessions will be hosted by the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics (MPA) in Garching, Germany. Additional details, such as the meeting schedule, travel and online meeting information, are available on this website.

There is no registration fee. The institute generously provides access to its facilities and staff support without charge. However, participants are responsible for their own meals, accommodations, and travel expenses. If financial constraints are a concern, please mention this in the comment section at the end of the registration form.

 

Registration is open:

Please register by July 1, 2025 to facilitate necessary administrative checks, which are also needed for online participation. Participation, online or in person, is only possible after confirmation by the organizers.  Late registrations can be considered, but we cannot garantee to process them in time.
