Göttingen Data Center

Burckhardtweg 4, 37077 Göttingen
Description

CARO and CARA, the two DLR High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems, are operated by GWDG in Göttingen and ZIH in Dresden, respectively.

The goal of this community workshop for DLR researchers is to promote the interaction with the GWDG and ZIH teams in order to evaluate and advance the services around both clusters in the following areas:

  • HPC operations
  • New features and software
  • Community and support

Participants will collaborate with the cluster teams and contribute own ideas in small group working sessions inspired by the World Café format.

The meeting directly follows the High-Performance Computing and Networking (HPCN) workshop at the same location.
