This course will provide opportunities to learn and practice basic data skills. It offers an introduction to research data management and the use of selected data tools (e.g. OpenRefine, R) necessary for conducting research. It is a key competence module and open for Bachelor, Master or PhD students from all ENLIGHT partner universities, particularly within the social sciences and related disciplines.
The course is recommended to students from the 4th semester, with some former experience in working with research data. Participants are encouraged to help each other and apply what they have learned to their own research problems and data.
Note on registration: Note that the number of seats is limited, you will receive a notification if you are admitted to the course. Selection of students will in particular take into account study discipline (prioritory will be given to the social sciences and related fields), registration date and diversity aspects.
