It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 3rd International Plant Immunity Symposium (IPIS 2024) organized by the International Research Training Group 2172 PRoTECT. The symposium takes place from August 26 to August 28 in Göttingen, Germany

In addition to talks by international and German guests, we are actively seeking poster contributions for a two-day exhibition, which will be a part of the symposium. If you are interested in presenting your research, please submit your abstract until June 30th.

We aim to provide a platform for engaging discussions on enhancing plant resilience against various stressors and the opportunity to connect with postgraduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and eminent scientists from around the world. IPIS 2024 will cover a wide range of topics related to plant-microbe interactions, plant signaling, effector biology, fungal pathogenesis, secondary metabolites, and the impact of parasitic plants on host plant immunity.

We especially extend an invitation to graduate students worldwide actively involved in plant immune biology to participate in the event. We encourage them to showcase cutting-edge and innovative plant biology research and to foster enriching discussions during the symposium. Participation without a poster is welcome!
