DESCRIPTION:The 3-day hands-on summer school will take place before the sy
 mposium. During the training\, we will discuss how  RNAi\, genome editin
 g\, transgenesis\, omics and imaging can be applied to your specific proje
 cts\, with the goal that you leave Göttingen with an enhanced working pla
 n for your research. The summer school is limited to 20 PhD students and p
 ostdocs.\nFollowing the summer school\, the 2-day symposium will bring tog
 ether international scientists working on understanding the function of ge
 nes underlying a wide range of zoological phenomena\, including contribute
