The conference will take place at the “Alte Mensa” (Old Mess Hall), located directly on the picturesque University Square/"Wilhelmsplatz" in the heart of Göttingen’s historic town center. The venue features beautifully restored historic rooms that will host the talks and poster sessions.
The closest pub (Thanners) lies just about 50 meters away, across the square, and many more pubs, restaurants, and shops are within easy walking distance — including several of our recommended hotels (Hotel Central: ~200 m; Hotel Freigeist-City: ~900 m). The “Barfüßer Straße” bus stop, located roughly 150 meters from the venue, provides convenient connections to the city’s public transport network.
