DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Mariia Shitik (UYST)\, Rebecca Jürgens (UBPP)\, Ale
xander Gail (GAU-GEMI)\, Britta Korkowsky (UXGS)\, Aleksandra Bovt (IRTG 2
 172 PRoTECT)\, Isabelle Matthias (CIDAS / Universität Göttingen)\, Chris
tian Schloegl (SFB 1528 - Cognition of Interaction)\n\nWe are pleased to a
nnounce the First Göttingen Cognition Forum:\nCuriosity & Interaction\nTh
e conference brings together researchers from neuroscience\, psychology\,
behavioral biology\, computational sciences and related fields\, focusing
on how social interactions and interaction with the environment shape cogn
ition in humans and non-human animals. The meeting aims to foster interdis
ciplinary discussions and connect researchers across disciplines and caree
r stages. The program welcomes empirical\, theoretical\, and computational
contributions\, including studies on neurodivergence\, novel methodologie
 s\, and AI-based analysis tools.\n \nPlenary speakers:\n\nJacqueline Gott
 lieb (Columbia University): Learning\, Memory\, Decision-Making\nBahador B
ahrami (LMU Munich): Social Neuroscience\, Decision-Making\nJudith Burkart
(University of Zurich): Comparative Psychology\, Cognitive Evolution\, \
nSteve Chang (Yale University): Social Neuroscience\, Social Behavior\nNac
hum Ulanovsky (Weizmann Institute of Science): Neural Underpinnings of Nat
ural Behavior\nAgostina Palmigiano (UC London): Computational Neuroscienc
e\n\n \nEmpirical\, theoretical\, and computational approaches are equall
y valued\, as are perspectives across the lifespan and insights from clini
cal research on neurodivergent and disabled populations. In addition\, we
particularly welcome contributions on methodological advances and artifici
al intelligence\, including novel approaches for analyzing cognitive and b
ehavioral processes.\nThe two-day main symposium will be followed by a one
-day satellite symposium focusing on Computational Neuroscience.\nWe are c
ommitted to fostering an open\, inclusive\, and diversity-friendly enviro
nment where researchers from all backgrounds feel welcome. Our conference
embraces a respectful and supportive atmosphere for all participants\, reg
ardless of career stage\, discipline\, or personal background. For more de
tails\, please refer to our Diversity Statement and Code of Conduct.\nRegi
stration has been closed. On-site registration is not possible. \n \nWe
look forward to welcoming you to Göttingen!\n \n \nOrganisers:\n\n\n\n\
